The Daily Bench is a young, entrepreneurial company that offers an internet-based service to enable hotels to benchmark their sales performance on a daily basis against competitors.
Tarsh has provided advice on the way the Bench communicates to clients and prospective clients, including a recommendation to produce reports comparing cities against each other, as a means of attracting media attention. In January 2006, the Bench prepared such a report, reviewing performance in selected European cities and launched it at an event co-hosted with KPMG.
Tarsh secured coverage by leading trade media from around the world and the report was the leading feature on Fast Track, a travel programme broadcast on BBC World, which attracts over 55 million viewers a week worldwide.
